In the past Nefarian vowed to crush Ragnaros. To this end, he made efforts to bolster his forces in Blackwing Lair through wild experimentation. Nefarian’s mad bid for dominance however attracted concern from the Red Dragon Flight, which has always been the Black Flight’s greatest foe.
